In order to combat money laundering and terrorism financing, exchange points conduct AML checks on transactions received from clients. In case a transaction is identified as high-risk, the exchange point may suspend the exchange operation until a check is conducted in accordance with FATF standards. Payments from the exchanges Garantex and Commex, as well as Bitpapa and Rapira, are strictly prohibited.
